For and with the elements

A low impact, sustainable life is what we all want. It leads to happiness. And we all want to be happy. I have been passionate about energy efficiency and sustainability since I began studying architecture.

I actually got fired from my first architectural job because I accused the firm of being lazy with their commitment to the environment. That is why I have had my own firm now for over 15 years. I can incorporate the most important environmental materials and designs into my projects. I have more control over creating healthy and responsible projects for my clients and the environment. I also am a partner with a renewable energy company who focuses on solar energy generation and energy storage through large battery systems.

This experience has taught me the language of energy and the cost of that energy and where our energy comes from.

I have led teams to acquire renowned certifications, such as LEED for energy efficiency in design and construction. Establishment Labs manufacturing facility being one example. We achieved a Gold certification for this new manufacturing facility. The first in Latin America.

At any rate I am dedicated to these issues and am always trying to stay on top of the latest technologies in materials and systems to make healthy environments.
