sculpture

The process for developing a sculpture is not unlike the process I use for architecture. I must understand the final location, the environment, how the piece will interact with light, the viewers perspective, my intuition and the clients desire as well.  The materials utilized will be chosen based on the form and final location just like my architecture. The main difference between an architectural project and my sculpture is that I alone build the sculpture which different from a home that requires a huge team of people, all interdependent. Sculpture is movement frozen; architecture is sculpture to live in.
